ABOUT THE ECAC
ECAC Esports is a comprehensive collegiate esports league that spans across North America. Although the ECAC Esports season is conducted online, there will be fall and spring events conducted in person. ECAC hosts two seasons each year: one in the fall and one in the spring. Each season features a 7-week regular season, which is formatted either as a round-robin or Swiss style, depending on the game. This is followed by a playoff period lasting 3-4 weeks. Each playoff bracket includes 16-32 of the top players or teams from each division, or the best participants from each game in the Swiss-style competitions.
OUR MISSION
Our mission at ECAC Esports is to add value to our member schools by enhancing the competitive experience for the thousands of students seeking to participate in intercollegiate esports. Since our inaugural season in 2017, ECAC Esports has grown significantly, and we are excited to offer 27 game titles and modes with over 440 member schools. Johnson Scoggins, Director of ECAC Esports stated, "We take great pride in fostering the growth of our community and listening to our members' feedback.
